WORKS
Below is a catalog of some video work I’ve done In the past, either for school assignments or as a freelancer. Admittedly, I haven’t been great at marketing myself and finding ways to branch out into the videos I really want to make, but stay tuned for that! Check out my Instagram page for more sports content.
“Jimmy Cooks” Wolves Football Mixtape (2022)
This was the mixtape I made for my high school’s football team during my senior year. I used the song “Jimmy Cooks” by Drake (oops) and 21 Savage. While I was more focused on the in-game action, Samuel Avers was getting incredible sideline and crowd shots and shared our footage with each other, so a huge thanks to him. Thank you to that football team as well for their historic season, because it’s easy to make a team look good when they are good.
WARNING: Explicit Lyrics
“Dreams and Nightmares” State Championship Hype (2022)
When the team made it to the state championship, I used the same footage from the regular season to create a hype video for that specific game. When the regular season ended, I decided it was time to finally be a high school student and enjoy being in the student section, so that’s why there’s no playoff footage. The song is “Dreams and Nightmares” by Meek Mill.
WARNING: Explicit Lyrics that are censored but you can still tell what he’s saying
World Class Education - Reeds Spring High School Commercial (2021)
I was asked to make a commercial for my high school built around the new school slogan; “World class education.” My school wasn’t a dump by any means—but ‘world class’ definitely wasn’t referring to our facilities or even our sports teams. That’s why this commercial showcases the experience of going to Reeds Spring High School, not the tangibles.
Nic-B-Gone Commercial (2024)
Don’t take this one too seriously—this was a class project for my media professionalism assignment where we were asked to make an informercial for a fake product. We decided to have a little fun with it and give it a light-hearted, comedic tone. This was made in collaboration with fellow MSU students Jake Agpar and Austin Mahler.
